Christopher A. Yates is the Director of the Ross Art Museum at Ohio Wesleyan University. He is an artist, critic, and educator. His artwork investigates ideas of chance, fate, and cyclical time. An independent art critic, he contributes art reviews to regional and national publications. In 2008, he received an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award in Art Criticism. He received a BFA in studio art from the Columbus College of Art & Design; a MFA in studio art from the State University of New York at Stony Brook; and a MLS with a focus in archives, rare books, and art librarianship from Kent State University.
